Caterham Cougars Lacrosse Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Swan as its new Senior Coach for the 2026/27 season, strengthening the club’s coaching team ahead of the new campaign.
The appointment reflects Cougars’ continued commitment to developing confident, skilful players in an inclusive and welcoming environment for lacrosse in the Caterham area. The Senior Women’s programme competes in South East Women’s Lacrosse Association Division 2, while the club also supports junior age groups from U13 upwards.
As Senior Coach, Megan will lead senior squad training, support match preparation, and work closely with the wider coaching group to help players progress across the club pathway. A former Caterham School pupil and Cougars player, Megan brings a strong understanding of the club, its values and its community.
Megan is currently attending Loughborough University and will be taking a placement year with the LTA during the 2026/27 season. She is also part of the England Lacrosse Development Squad and has represented England at two Home Internationals tournaments.
Club Chair Lee Lomas said: “We are delighted to welcome Megan back to the club as Senior Coach and player for the 2026/27 season. Megan knows Caterham Cougars well, having come through the club as a player, and her experience with Loughborough University and the England Lacrosse Development Squad will be a real asset to our senior squad and wider club community.”
Megan Swan said: “I am excited to be taking on the Senior Coach role at Caterham Cougars for the 2026/27 season. Cougars is a club I know well and care about deeply, and I am looking forward to working with the players and coaches to build on the club’s strong foundations.”
